As many Americans (and many Europeans) get today off for Veterans Day (or Armistice Day), I hope you'll take a moment and think of my fellow veterans who didn't get to come home, and of their families and friends who have an empty spot in their lives that can never be filled.
And while you're at it, if you get a resume from a veteran, give it an extra look before you toss it on the pile. They just might surprise you.
