I'll bite. I think economic freedom encourages political freedom, but only if it first produces prosperity. Once enough people rise above a certain standard of living, they can focus on secondary issues, like governance, instead of on primary issues, like food and shelter.

More seriously, I like some of these ideas but will have to reserve judgment on others until I've tried them. Scheduling a meeting at 10:10 might just mean people will show up at 10:20 -- especially where lateness is a cultural thing. And I wonder whether getting people to state their positions too early in a meeting might lock

Although my job is not very creative in nature, I do understand the standard of perfectionism that some people have for themselves and their bosses set for them. There are many instances in a job which mistakes cannot be allowed, so I understand the strictness that has to be imposed. Every piece of the puzzle has to be the correct fit. I believe that anchor institutions (universities, federal govt, certain Fortune 100 firms) create these hubs. I'd like to add that it's also frustrating for applicants when employers change the date for when an application is due. In my search for an internship, I've encountered two organizations that have mysteriously changed the date so that it's two or three weeks earlier than the originally posted date. Not a good way to recruit people into working for your organization.

At the risk of sounding cliche, I think it's a bit of both. In architecture, Postmodernism was a response to Modernism. (Think "Less is a bore" in response to "Less is more.") While Postmodernism was flourishing, Deconstructivism was as well. However, Desconstructivism wasn't so much a response to Modernism as it was a flat-out rejection of its principles.
